The only thing that makes me sad about dying is knowing I will miss out on what happens in the future. Where the human race gets to. What makes you sad about dying? Or do you look forward to when it happens (in a non suicidal way)?
Sort of looking forward to it 70yrs old now and don't mind getting off - I don't like my society much hate my politicians and what they are doing to the U.K sort of moody times we over here are living in - getting off would be a relief.
Moody times for me this side of the Big Pond.
Nothing makes me sad about dying, nor do I look forward to it. If I knew I was going to suffer, I'd rather die sooner than later. I assume I'll just cease to exist. There will be no me.
How can you miss something that you will never be a part of anyway ?
Knowing what people evolve into, what direction the world goes toward, wanting to live in that world rather than now. Feel like living in a better time if it were to exist in the future. Does life end and then start over on earth. All these question that I will not know the answers.
@IamStarstuff Why would you want to burden yourself with things that will die with you anyway ?
I don't think we are going anywhere but downhill quickly. I don't want to live forever. its how I die that bothers me and not being dead.
Nothing about death is fair to anyone, and yeah I too often wonder what life on this planet will be like once I expire?
