Yep. Very eloquent. Pretty sure I said something very similar, but perhaps less eloquently, to my ex-boyfriend when I broke it off a few years ago, and again and again every time he came back, though I ended my sentences with "..for my well being and self respect" or something like that.
Excellent. In fact, I would take it a step further. Instead of making it a choice as in “I would rather,” make it a matter of necessity. Something like, “I have found that adjusting to the absence of people like you in my life contributes more to my well-being than changing my boundaries to accommodate your disrespect.”
