@mischl I would rather he escape to Moscow where his puppet master resides. I have trouble with the precedent of putting the opposition in prison. I want life to become so trying for him that he flees......or dies 1st. Making him a martyr to the MAGAs will only hurt the country. I wish someone would change my mind.

@Moolah I hear what you're saying, but you have to remember, "Lock her up." was his rallying cry, so he's already broken that precedent as far as intent. The GQP might be encouraged if Trump is convicted to pursue prosecutions against dems, but I don't think they want to really set the bar that high. I'm all for putting corrupt officials behind bars. We SHOULD be holding powerful officials to a higher standard, as befits that power. NOT convicting Trump is the dangerous precedent to be set; that having enough power puts one above the law.
