How can this guy be the defacto leader of a major political party? How is this even possible?
He was a damn sight better president than the one we have now. No war, no runaway inflation and he would have still been president if it hadn’t been for Covid. Hard times often bring about bad leaders. The Great Depression brought about the rise of Adolf Hitler. Covid brought about Joe Biden’s election. I’ll be glad when he’s gone.
Man, you can't lay the inflation rate on Joe Biden! That was set up by fiscal policy going back decades! Borrowing trillions of dollars to carry out the Iraq war fiasco had WAY more to do with today's inflation than anything Biden has done. Hell, he's only been in office 16 months! You are really funny!
And as for war, Joe Biden got us OUT of the only one American soldiers were actively participating in (that is, Afghanistan).
If you're talking about Ukraine, Trump's attempt to extort a personal favor from Zelensky by threatening to withhold military aid (aid Ukraine needed to fight off Russia's aggression) no doubt emboldened Putin to escalate his crimes against humanity there.
If that fat fuck Trump had had his way, the NATO alliance would be far less unified right now, and Putin might be much better situated to obliterating a democratic nation. Thanks to Joe Biden's leadership, the Alliance is strong and Putin is getting his ass kicked. Glory to Ukraine!
Dude, you are truly hilarious!
@Flyingsaucesir So you don’t think shutting down the Keystone XL and banning oil and gas leasing on federal land which accounted for 20% of US production had anything to do with higher oil and gas prices??
@Trajan61 The Keystone XL should never have been started. Firstly, it crosses tribal lands where they don't want it. We should respect their wishes, and I think they have good reasons to object. Ecologically sensitive habitats and water supplies are endangered by the pipeline. There never was a pipeline that didn't leak sooner or later. Furthermore, we should be moving away from fossil fuels anyway. Their continued combustion is driving us toward climate catastrophe. The warming that has already occurred is costing us upwards of 100 billion dollars a year in damages from wind, flood, fire, drought, expansion of the ranges of pathogen-carrying insects, and sea level rise. And this is only the tip of the proverbial iceberg. If we blow past the tipping points in the natural system, then it's basically game over. You won't have to worry about inflation, because there won't be an economy.
We didn’t have war, inflation, and $4.00+ gas though. It’s almost like he did the job he was hired to do.
I love either your ignorance or your sarcasm.
@nogod4me That comment is right in line with others he has made where there was no note of sarcasm....makes me think it's the former, not the latter.
@nogod4me
But it’s true.
@Trajan61 how am I wrong?
@CourtJester Your not wrong but try telling that to the idiots on this website.
@CourtJester So, it is ignorance. Thanks for clarifying that.
May we all live long enough to see this through!
From your lips to gawd's ear
@Flyingsaucesir If she's listening.....
That's what I keep asking, too. Why are we Dems trying to cancel him from running? If we can't beat him we are most certainly going to have a harder time elsewhere. His star is fading fast (probably still doing business in Russia so breaking sanctions, for instance) so let's hope he is their so-called "leader."
I hope he does run...it will certainly bring our people to the polls.
