Is anyone else overly excited about the new Avengers movie?
More excited about Deadpool 2
@macrobius I love Antman and Feadpool the most.
You don't even know the half of it.
I am so excited I feel like my skin could rip from my bones. Like my heart is on its own treadmill.
This is the moment I've been waiting for for 10 years. My entire life amounts to this.
I got my ticket. 7pm tomorrow. IMAX RealD 3D.
@LadyAlyxandrea Yeah, you pretty much don't care about it, like at all!
@Rhetoric nope. I dont...like....bleed avengers
I'm looking forward to it. Phase II Marvel was not that great, IMO, but I've been fairly impressed by more of the Phase III films. As long as this film can work out the "too many superhero's" problem that Avengers: Age of Ultron encountered, I think it'll be pretty good.
So many good geek movies out this spring and summer! How on earth will I ever be able to decide which ones warrant the theater and which ones I can wait and stream? Eh, it's not that difficult. Theater movies: Avengers: Infinity War, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Incredibles 2, and maybe Ant-Man and The Wasp. Deadpool 2 can wait for streaming. I've already seen Ready Player One.
How was Ready Player One?
I really enjoyed it, but I'd also agree that movie's criticisms are pretty valid too.
I hear the post credits scene is the best EVER made. My prediction is that the x-men show up. Maybe introduced in a meeting with Nick Fury. Now that Disney owns the rights, they can be added to the MCEU. Unlikely to be Deadpool (against Thanos?) or Fantastic Four (poor reception).
I love Deadpool!
Yes, I am. I will be watching it this weekend in celebration of my birthday.
Happy Birthday.
@gigihein Thank you!
I pre bought a ticket for Friday! ... and Saturday... and Sunday... I'm not proud hhahah
I would be
@LadyAlyxandrea I really am and I'm super excited I had to see it in a few different theaters with different people. Friday is IMAX, Saturday is Dolby Digital, Sunday is Roadhouse Dine-in.
I feel like the caravan has left town for me on The Avengers.
I really have no interest. I mean, I get that people complete lose their business over the franchise, but it's just not my thing. Although I did enjoy the first Iron Man, if that counts.
My best cinema experiences in the last 12 months were:
. Isle of Dogs
. Dunkirk
. Last Flag Flying
I enjoyed Last Flag Flying. I haven't seen the others yet.
A Wes Anderson fan?!
@CM1965 Less of a fan and more of nut. I love his films.
@Palindromeman well sir, I think I’m nuttier than you. Wait that didn’t sound right. I am so glad to make your acquaintance. I actually have a Wes Anderson fan club on Second Life. We need to talk.
@CM1965 Copy that
I was a few rounds but lost opportunity to see so many now I'm so behind hard to be excited because I want to catch up first.?
