Okay so I managed, after he left sulking, to re-stocking the wood supply that is convenient to my Heater plus start an extra stack under cover in case of emergencies like us unexpectedly getting rain etc, and by the time I was putting things away the phone rings and it is previous case client who needs to have a word or two.
So I talk with her and the chat session goes on for almost an hour and half, just about to head out and grab a shower to wash of the sweat, etc, when Evangelidiot knocks on the door and starts DEMANDING to know why I have not been over to see what can be done to repair the damage he has done to his wood-heater.
When I try to explain that I had a troubled client who needed to talk to me I got this as his extremely caring Evangelical Christian reaction,
" Well, so some kid with a problem is more important than me with a wood burmer that I can't use and I need you to look at it and tell me how I can get it fixed, that's how it is it, FUCKING teenage teens before me."
I merely responded quietly and calmly with, " Does it say clearly in the Bible that to God and Jesus ALL lives are precious and did not Jesus say to the Disciples, "He who helps another is a better person that he stands by and watches" ? Well, you'd think I had pole-axed him with Pile-driver, he went almost deathly white, struggled to catch his breath and on an afternoon with the temperature at just 14.5 degrees C, breaks in to sweat, a profuse sweat then actually BEGS for my forgiveness then asks if perhaps I could spare the time tomorrow afternoon to look at and figure out how, if it can be done, fix his wood burning heater.

Possibly ONLY for 2 main reasons,
a) he knows that I have a ThD ( Doctorate in Theology) and is under the very false impression that he can lead me back to the fold, more chances of pigs learning to fly than that ever happening,
b) despite his interminable boasting, etc, etc, he is as useless at things like welding, etc, etc, as a one-legged man in an arse kicking contest, and as I discovered from chatting with his ex- girlfriend, Liz, yesterday and to quote her exact words " He can now count ALL of his friends on the same hands as can a man with BOTH arms amputated at the shoulders."
Even his "Yard and Garden" business has gone down faster than the Titanic of late ever since word leaked out around town from numerous sources as to how much of an expert and how reliable he WAS NOT.
Oh and I did find out yesterday that his credibility and repute with local businesses has almost sunken down as far as the bottom of the Marianas Trench so to speak.
Thanks for reporting that interesting reaction. You should try to see if the reaction repeats under similar circumstances.

Repeats ? that was a repeat of previous repeats that were also repeats of repeats of previous repeats over the last 10 years.
It’s so odd that he comes to you for help with anything, especially after the way he has behaved towards you. He truly must be the neighbor from hell!

In TOTAL agreement there and after some deep, well not so deep as such, consideration and thought last evening I have decided to start the processes of teaching him the TRUE virtues, etc, that make up a a good, decent and respected member of society,
Lesson starts today with me being UNAVAILABLE for inspecting his wood-heater by ME taking the ENTIRE day to myself, as it is my usual set day off from the Helping Line Duties anyway, so FIRST I shall go and do my grocery shopping, which may well take me a few hours as it is done in a Shopping Mall that has a Cafe that makes an excellent Iced Coffee Milkshake and serve extremely tasty meals as well, then I will bring my groceries home, sort them and put them away, have a frshen up shower and then catch a bus and go for a very prolonged bus ride around ALL the Bus routes in town, at a mere cost of $2.50.
That should then get me home around 5 - 5.30 pm if I decide to stay the whole time on the buses or just come home and put my feet up.
@Triphid That sounds like a marvelous day and plan!

I tend to think that ACTUALLY get ANY message EXCEPT religious garbage through his THICK skull one needs to consider the application of both a Jack-hammer and a few stick of TNT.
@Triphid That would be a waste of perfectly good TNT.
@anglophone Yes, i suppose you are 100% correct, the jack-hammer alone would be the far better option I think.
For a christian, he's really bad at it. lol

Constantly asking for free things and claiming some sort of persecution or injustice if they don't get it... seems like a normal xtian for me.
