On my mind....how the Christian "Right" has been, along with the Tea Party to take away our right, per the 17th Amendment, to vote for our Senators to represent us in the US Senate and return it to state government.

I don't think this has anything to do with the Christian right. Senators were originally intended to represent the States, and some people think it ought to go back to the way it was originally. I am skeptical but willing to listen.
