Here She Is!!!! Grizzly Bear 399 and her two year old quadruplets 2022
In 2020, Grizzly Bear 399 emerged from hibernation with 4 cubs. At 24 years old, this was a phenom.
Today, she is officially an empty-nester. Mating season is beginning and in order to mate again successfully, her cubs had to be independent.
399 has 22 desendents, 6 that are 2 sets of triplets and these quads among with twins and singular births. She's known as the World's Most Famous Bear and The Queen.

(Footnote: Two of 399's offspring have been euthanized in past years. The most recent in 2021. The decidions to do so were made due to the stupidity of humans. Both female, both were fed by humans, and both became aggressive when the humans were tired of them coming for food and stopped feeding, causing the confused bears to seem aggressive as they sought out the food they'd come to expect.)

Any person stupid enough to be harmed or killed by a wild animal is just helping Nature to cull the herd of humans. People walk up to a Bison, do this to an operating Earth moving tractor where the driver cannot see you. Same thing.

There was a woman lived on Upper Peoh Point Road in Cle Elum. It's on the rise above and south of the town. Lots of wildlife. This lady loved to feed the deer. Wild life ranger told her numerous times not to do it. A main meal for cougar are deer. One day there were no deer around but there was a cougar. It snatched her dog off her porch and ran into the woods. She was upset, called the ranger. He was very tactful but there was nothing he could about it but told her again to not feed the deer.

and the daughter was aware mom's marbles were not all there. It makes it so much more dangerous for others. In my case a cougar also killed a neighbor's priced sheep, there is no way to prove that that cougar was who snatched the woman's dog. The kill was used in a live trap to trap cougar and relocate the cat. She was a young female and I was able to be there when the Wildlife Ranger and crew came to weigh, measure and tag her. Awesomely beautiful creatures🥰.
