Twelve religious group members arrested over Australian girl's death
Sounds like it all happened behind the closed doors.
A nurse friend of mine once told me that one day, a girl was brought into the hospital where she worked. To cut the long story short, the girl desperately needed blood transfusion but her Jehovah's witness parents wouldn't give their consent (Jehovah's witnesses are against blood transfusion). Luckily, the hospital, the local authority and ultimately the government overrode the parents' refusal and the girl was given blood transfusion.
If only Elizabeth's condition was known to anyone outside the religious group, they could've raised alert. Truly tragic.
Sounds like many other cases of Christian Science medical neglect. I wonder if they are beginning to put 2 and 2 together and question if there is a God, or at least why the supposedly omnipotent deity chose to ignore their prayers. Well that may be giving them too much credit.
Such people are not known for using their brains.
That poor little girl! Does Australia have a death penalty?
I doubt that the religitards that forced their insane beliefs on those 12 will be charged with being accessories to murder.
@Dyl1983 Some crimes (not many but some) almost SCREAM for the death penalty.
