Even if we don't get him again, I think we will likely have an even worse Repub prez in two years, a smarter and more effective fascist, and this time, he will succeed, along with already having both houses of congress already controlled by his party. Our last shreds of democracy are going away soon.

I hear you. Ron DiSantis is a contender for the Republican nomination. And if it isn't him, there are plenty of other fascist assholes to choose from. But none of this is new; this country has been through worse and recovered. The big difference this time around is social media and the digital age. Pretty soon anyone will be able to produce a convincing deep fake. And we already know people cannot tell truth from fiction. So it will be interesting...
If this country is stupid enough to re-elect that clown, I’m outa here. With my son and daughter in law being naturalized Australian citizens and grandson born there, for reasonable fee I’m in the club.....

I guess I could go to Canada or Mexico, but I think I would rather stay here and fight the fascists. It would be an honorable way to live and die.
One of my kids is moving to Amsterdam. I'm learning Dutch now. IF things get really bad I could go for an extended visit, but they're not going to let me stay. I'm too old and don't have enough money.
Wish I had your kind of options.
I want him humiliated so bad he never shows his face in public again. I don't think that is gonna happen, but just for it to be on the record of what a slime ball he is is a great start.
