What we call Modernity has old roots. In most respects, it represents a secularisation of ideas and perspectives borrowed from Christian metaphysics, which spread into secular life following a rejection of any transcendent dimension.
Actually, one finds in Christianity the seeds of the great mutations that gave birth to the secular ideologies of the first post-revolutionary era.

Yipes!!! This guy??? [en.m.wikipedia.org]
Really? Is Wikipedia wrong? “Alain de Benoist (/də bəˈnwɑː/; French: [alɛ̃ də bənwa]; born 11 December 1943) – also known as Fabrice Laroche, Robert de Herte, David Barney, and other pen names[1] – is a French journalist and political philosopher, a founding member of the Nouvelle Droite ("New Right" ), and the leader of the ethno-nationalist think tank GRECE.””
I’ll pass on the ethnonationalism thank you very much. “Principally influenced by thinkers of the German Conservative Revolution,[2] de Benoist is opposed to Christianity, the rights of man, neoliberalism, representative democracy, egalitarianism; and what he sees as embodying and promoting those values, namely the United States.[3] He theorized the notion of ethnopluralism, a concept which relies on preserving and mutually respecting individual and bordered ethno-cultural regions.[4][5]” I’m no fan of Christianity nor neoliberalism, but I have no truck with whatever “ethnopluralism” means.
A bug or a feature? “His work has been influential with the alt-right movement in the United States, and he presented a lecture on identity at a National Policy Institute conference hosted by Richard B. Spencer; however, he has distanced himself from the movement.[6][7]”
Nope! If he influenced the alt-right that cannot be good.
@Matias The text you quoted seems quite connected to his worldview of ethnonationalism. Maybe not your views, but not a source I would feel comfortable quoting to make some points. Individualism can be taken too far, just take a gander at Ayn Rand and libertarians, but there is the Bill of Rights and the concept of minority protections underlying checks and balances in the US Constitution. And egalitarianism means something like equal protection under the law though it can be extended to side-eyeing rampant economic inequality as injustice. Progressivism can have flaws if one thinks history inherently moves that way or use it as justification for eugenics as happened in the early 20th century (contra egalitarian ideals) but it beats golden age regressive views right wing traditionalists champion (palingenetic MAGA fascism). Universalism such as universal human rights is a step up from what came before with particularisms, balkanization, and later with ethnonationalism.
I wonder why our species stopped worshiping their only 2 real deities, sun and moon, for the fake stuff. This is when "Fake" was originated.
What kind of renaissance is he calling for?
Funny, with all it has going for it Christianity so often finds a way to screw up
