i'm with @doug6352: this is just another version of frankenstein, & a very cruel one. why can't the researchers pull little sticks & do this to each other?

Wry comment:-
In the "good old days" they would have had access to human abattoirs, (Gaols [jails in US speak] with criminals condemned to the gallows) but it's a bit harder these days so they drop in to the animal abattoirs instead.
I Hope the POTUS is planning a brain transplant...
