They almost had to. The consensus that it was a erroneous decision and had all kinds of flawed legal arguments. We’ll see where it goes from here, but it has to go to someone not indebted to Trump for their job.

If it goes to the SCUSA the appellate judge for Florida is Clarence Thomas, and that will be that, end of story.
I'll bet that's where it ends up, unfortunately. They could always refuse to hear the case, but probably won't.

Just playing the system, slow things down for two years and then hope Trumpty gets back in to the Whitehouse and is untouchable for another 4 years. That's been his plan all along
