Lol sounds like it’d be a hit in my town!
Good one!
I copy/pasted this meme to my Facebook page.
I accidentally misgendered TWO people at work today. They were genuine, honest mistakes both but I feel bad about it. At least one was avoidable - rather than guess who that person is, just ask (“is that your son?” “No my girlfriend.” OOPS!) the other was a kid - prepubescent, too young to know what his “pronouns” are and with an androgynous name and appearance. Even wanting and trying to do my best it is hard!
Someone once referred to my 6 year old daughter as my son. She was wearing a purple velvet dress at the time but her hair was short.
I did the same in class today. "I'm a boy" he screamed. I feel bad that it matters. It shouldn't. I think I'll call all kids "it" from now on.
