Something I posted on my FB page 9 years ago, thank you Robert Heinlein

"The most preposterous notion that Homo sapiens has ever dreamed up is that the Lord God of Creation, Shaper and Ruler of all the Universes, wants the saccharine adoration of His creatures, can be swayed by their prayers, and becomes petulant if He does not receive this flattery. Yet this absurd fantasy, without a shred of evidence to bolster it, pays all the expenses of the oldest, largest, and least productive industry in all history.”

It astonishes me that allegedly intelligent people still accept the total nonsense of the Buy Bull as being factual. RAH was apparently of the same opinion.

I love that! Buy Bull! That's a keeper! Just a few minutes ago, I wondered if it was an older version of Grimms Fairy Tales

A book came out several years ago titled "Overdevelopment, Overpopulation, Overshoot. There is a pictorial chapter titled 'Lord Man.' Go to pages (the words are short but the pictures cannot be ignored.

Always love it when an author I like feels much the same as I do.

I really enjoy Stephen King's work, so my BEST one was right after trump was put in the White House and the crazy really started to fly - remember the crowd size thing - I commented to all my friends how much it reminded of Humphrey Bogart's portrayal of the character Captain Queeg in The Caine Mutiny.
A few month's later a friend sent me an email with a comment that Stephen King made comparing trump to Queeg.

Whoda thunk? And yet we have Scientology, a crazy religion based on a book written by a sci-fi writer….

Hubbard knew a good grift when he saw one. hahahaha

Heinlein did write about how L. Ron Hubbard was a bore after he stared his own religion.
