Yeah...I don't spell well. broke brain will not hear of it. But not the worst thing ever.

Cancer without treatment...now that's just about the worst think that's ever happened to me.

That's a terrible situation for you - why no treatment? Can't understand that - against your ethics or something (religion)? I've beaten cancer twice after surgery and chemo. I'm fit and well 20 years afterwards. Hang in there, keep us posted, we'd like to know how you're going - love to you

You've been dealt a lousy hand. What is the prognosis without treatment?

28 days to live after my meds get cut off. and yes it sucks. But I can live a fairly long life if I get proper treatment.

So sorry to hear it, it is a frightening diagnosis.. Have you chosen no treatments?..I survived stage 3 throat cancer, so I understand the shock of finding out.

I have stage 4 thyroid. twice threw radiation. pre-chemo & cannibus is keeping me going.

Are you getting treatment now?

Do you need more treatment? (Cancer).

You can call the ACS (or go to ACS.org) they have some things at least that are free.

Also call 211 in your area for any needed programs.

Yes Cancer without treatment would be one of the very worst things ever.

the 'best' my insurance can get me in a red state.... yeah it's that depressing...

I just need CO treatment for about 2 years with nothing else todo...then I need to try to come back to the world slowly...but I have to work to the bone to keep from dying in the street in 28days.

Indeed Gf..

@MissaDixon How awful! Hang on as best you can. In the meantime, pamper yourself as much as possible.

@MissaDixon Sounds like you should be on disability for Cancer. Have you tried applying? Also a call to your Senator's office can help.

@MissaDixon I also think you should try for disability. My mother was approved the first time she applied with stage 3 breast cancer. She was able to work part time when she was physically capable and relied on the disability when she was not. They have what is called the Compassionate Allowances program in which they look over your application more quickly in order to get you approved. You can contact your local social security office for help. I wish you the best of luck.

@MissaDixon I got my SSDI in a month..I'm now on SSI..thank goodness..

@pixiedust, @RavenCT I will lose my health care if I do... just the way my state works and I'd have to be out of work for 2 years to qualify. and I don't really want to retire yet. I'm only 48, I've got lots of good years left.
