I'm furious, I just found out that my ex who's told me he can't afford to give me any money towards a laptop for our daughters birthday, has bought himself a hot tub! How does he even justify that to himself! This is after asking me to pay half the costs of the divorce he's petitioning for!

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.My son's teeth came in through his palate and had to have mouth gear and braces later. It cost 10k nearly 20 years ago. When I asked his father for help, I was told it had to come out of the child support.
This kid was sick all the time because you are not supposed to have holes in your palate. I delivered pizza in addition to my day job for about a year to pay for them
His STEP children all had braces. He had another son from before we were married that also needed braces. His wife said no. He agreed.

SO I would have to presume that attitude is why he is your ex, and therefore that should have been expected...? Shop around, there are individuals who sell laptops for $100 or so that are used business models and are guaranteed...
