You have a very little understanding of India to tell an Indian born and brought up there. But that is not surprising.

The two are different. One does not mean the other is the same like a beautiful woman can be dumb. Both coexist. I have a great admirer of the history and the heritage including its invasions that has made its culture and characteristics diverse and rich. The Indian food people eat in India restaurants is not India originally. It is Mughal brought by invaders from Central Asia and ruled India for 350 years through 10 generations and built the most beautiful monuments of India that solely bring 80% of the monument tourism revenue of the country.
