Pope warns Vatican staff an 'elegant demon' lurks among them
Pope Francis has warned Vatican bureaucrats to beware the devil that lurks among them, saying it is an “elegant demon” that works in people who have a rigid, holier-than-thou way of living the Catholic faith
Oh Hell... he is into me... Who Snitch on me? Got to be that Virgin Nun!!!
Like other comments stated here ; it seems some of the statements are convoluted and resembling a bandaid
on a arterial wound . To casually use humility as a goal : HUMILITY IS NOT A PART TIME GARMENT to occasionally
wear , but a basic inter personal trait- it's either there OR not. I think he is a step in the right direction ¥¥¥ yet how far they have to go / versus how fast humanity
is facing crisis after crisis gives me QUALMS about geo political power centers.
Thank you for posting.
PS interesting that he has detractors
pushing hard & slyly BACK IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION.
Yea…..look out!! The clouds are falling!! The sky is turning purple!! Mmmm maybe Hells freezing over also?
It did that when The Eagles reunited.
Sort of sounds like a metaphor for someone who's religious but don't follow the religious way. Sounds like the republican party to me, I'm just saying.
Because they were all sweet & folksy up to a year ago???????
Using nonsense to prove more nonsense. He clearly has no idea what he is talking about. (Nor has any pope in the last 1,600 years.)
He’s basically admitting that The Church’s teachings are rhetoric, or nonsense, and I don’t see that as going down well.
I wonder was he referring to himself...
He already knows this about himself and the religion as a whole. He is the equivalent of a snake oil salesman. His purpose is to entice new members along with keeping the ones he already has. Wealth, power, and control is the ultimate achievement that is worthwhile to herald him into the history books as one of the best if not "the" best. The whole thing is a scam to get as much out of your pockets as possible while controlling your life. It must give him wet dreams every time he succeeds.
