Anyone else hate what they do for a living?
Yup. Pays well, but I hate it. I submitted my retirement last week so hopefully I'll be be able to move on with a government pension intact.
My job is ok. I joke that I've put up with this shit so my children never would.
People that would never be nasty to wait staff because they fear spittle in their food have no issue calling me names, or saying I'm full of shit or a hundred other indignities
I'm retired, but I loved where I worked when I was working. The work itself, I was kind of ambivalent about. There was way too much office politics which I was never into, couldn't stomach. The last couple of years, before I retired, were the best since I knew I was going to retire.
Why do you hate your job, just curious?
Yeah, but it could be worse. I could hate "who" I do for a living, like Melania Trump does.
Lol. Just the thought is vomit inducing
I can't do work that I hate.
I teach because it's one of the few things I like to do, but there's little money in it in the US, unless you teach foreign students online, or teach ESL in a country with a low cost of living.
