Many Republicans are sick of Trumpty Dumpty. They know he's just dragging them down. He lost in 2018, lost in 2020, and lost in 2022. Can the Done Cheato even win a primary election? If he runs as an independent in the general, won't that split the Republican vote, making a Democratic win much more likely? With all that in mind, should Joe Biden run again? If not Joe, then who?
Isn't it obvious that DeSantos will offer 45 a pardon if he steps aside, which he would be a fool not to take?
In other words, the fix is in.
According to the push poll that I got from Trump the other day he has 56% of the Republican vote.
I'm really happy with what Biden has accomplished under the circumstances. I think it's too old to run next time. Unfortunately regardless of whether he is really too old it will be just enough to make it hard for him to win unless he's running against Trump who's old enough to make that a non-issue.
I'm looking around and came up with Jon Tester. He's voted for a couple of things that bother me but it's obvious from his history that he's trainable and changeable and he really appeals to the good old boys.
Interesting choice! Tester does have crossover appeal. He's certainly proven that he can get both Democratic and Republican votes. But he's relatively unknown outside of Montana. He one to watch.
@Flyingsaucesir I've never heard of him even considering it.
