I always avoided eye contact with strangers long before the pandemic.
But now your eyes are fixed...problem?
@AnneWimsey I was talking about not gritting on strangers. I grew up in the city. I go about my business and expect others to do the same. I don't look for opportunities to engage with passers by and I'm suspicious of strangers who try to engage me for no reason. That was way before Covid and long before my eyesight failed me.
I always try to acknowledge passers by with a salutation or at least a nod.
Even homeless people that are wandering around talking to themselves,
or some imaginary being. I give them a hello or at least acknowledge
their presence. Both my lady friend and I seem to have an aura that attracts
random strangers to interact with us.
I and my family are totally surrounded in a bubble suits with a 10 foot pole used in public places. We cancel all cultures and social events. Covid is like Satan around every corner, lane way and lamp post. We are equipped with liquid soup for cleansing on the hour. We keep out of eye contact as much as humanlly possible. I wear triple masks in my car like a third world war trooper.. When I have sex with my partner I wear a six feet condom over my body and a two foot butt plug up my arse in case of covid farts. One can never be too safe, when one could catch a common cold system. According to liberals 44% who catch covid are hospitalize. The mind is a horrible place to live.
You can't be too careful.
