That poll is from Gallup, a known centrist source which is rated high in the credibility department. Gotta love the smartasses and "experts" who question any sort of polling that of which may go against any world views they wish to adhere to, and I suppose such an attitude would be considered "progress", lol.

Well played, you went by a credible source, and I respect that.

Independent journalists are about the only ones that can even be considered as trustworthy

Yup, I agree.

Joe Rogan has 10 times more hits than CNN . Other comedains like Ressel Brand and Bill Mahar draw big time and draw more trust in their reporting.

This poll .... in which "trustworthy" piece of media was it published?

It's from Gallup Research, which is highly rated in the factual department and are a least biased and centrist source-

@SpikeTalon I know that. I was rhetorically answering Castlepaloma.

@Petter If you knew that already, then for what purpose did you ask? To troll? And I ask that honestly, because I'm not buying your explanation, as there is no reason to ask something like that even rhetorically speaking assuming you did indeed know the source cited was an independent source.

The link is above.
Out of 46 countries US media was ranked last as trustworthy.

@SpikeTalon Have you no sense of rhetorical humour?

I think every segment of society, certainly every systemic (therefore existential), segment has been fractured into meaninglessness. What has no meaning can't be viewed as truth so becomes propaganda to gain customers. Money corrupts everything and that's why humans should figure out a different way to trade. Maybe after our near extinction by environment?

In general, I trust the normal media. That does not include Fox.

For a person that hasn't owned a TV for 12 years and very rarely watch or trust the mainstream news. I think it much lower than that. Yet it doesn't matter when the narrative is into mass distraction, mass hsynosposia and into compliance theory. The 18% of democrats that totally trust all the media bs, has to be the totalterrimism pushing this through.

I would assume it's Fox, OAN, and Newsmax viewers, because it seems there's no end to the amount of bullshit they'll swallow.

Of course you think it much lower. It satisfies a need.

@yvilletom

When people I hired show up to work all miserable and depressed, I tell them to shut off the News. If it leads, it bleeds, and too often they show the hell holes, horrible people and arm pits of the earth. I'm satisfie to avoid, this kind of sick environment of suffering.
