Is there a good alternative for American atheist/agnostics?

The site seems to have become a forum for US politics, rather than a space for agnostics.
In which case it might just as well fade away as far as agnostics are concerned

to be precise: a forum for American atheist Progressives.

It never really was a space for agnostics. Atheists have always been the majority, some of whom denigrate agnostics. I agree with @Thibaud70.

@MsKathleen I am a devout atheist, but I was using the site's name.

Yes, I fear you might be right. Since you friended me on FB, a few others did too, though I interact more here than on FB.

To be honest, because of the feeling of anonymity, I have shared more of my true self here than on my public social media presence, where I don't want to ruffle feathers. In that way, this site has been freeing, since there are things I don't dare say where friends and family might see. I will sure miss this site if it goes away.

I wonder if there is a crafty person who could take over this site, if @Admin is unwilling or unable? There are a few acquaintances I will miss for their wisdom, questioning nature, and bringing light to sides of an issue I had never considered.

I feel the same way, but wishes and hopes are only realised if one puts effort them.
I have taken action and started a forum myself. Ok it is house that needs a decorator/interior designer at present, but is fully functional as a forum.
any ideas and advice are greatly appreciated.

@Kurtn Looks better than most of the alternatives I have seen to this site.

@Julie808 Yes, I felt the same for a long time, but being able to openly be agnostic here gave me the courage to be openly so on fb.
I do not think this site is available to be taken over, and I believe it would be rather expensive, as servers are not cheap.
