There is that Donkey Dong thing and emissions of horses.
No. I think it’s perfectly ok to read a book in school. where the main character(god) commands that another group of people that doesn’t believe in him is utterly destroyed including women, children and infants. Also , Jephthah is a great story for kids where he’s seen as a great man of faith for offering up his daughter in a burnt sacrifice to god
Maybe your right, keep state and religion separated. Even though I don't like the way both are too dominant and damaging like a drug cocktail.
@Castlepaloma When you have people in great numbers, as we do today, you have to have laws, and the means to enforce them. Otherwise you'll have nothing but anarchy and chaos. If you want laws that are fair to everyone, then you need a representative body, a legislature, to write them. And then you will need another body, a judiciary,to interpret the laws. And you will need an executive to administer and implement the law. Before you know it, you have a government. If the people who lead the various branches are chosen by the people at large, there's a chance that the government will be fair and work for everyone's benefit. But the people who elect the government officials must be well-informed, and actively participate in the electoral process. They must be constantly vigilant, lest malign forces (bad people) take over the government and attempt to use it for their own selfish ends. Trump/MAGA is a prime example of such malign force. I find it very satisfactory that the system is holding Trump and his minions accountable. It's very encouraging. We may save this civilization yet.
@abyers1970 You must be joking
People are born anarchist individual and learn or mostly self taught everything esle in life. Chaos is far greater than laws and beyond everyone imagination. There are plenty of laws in action that are unjust or unnatural laws of nature or not based on ethics..How about two simply laws like be honest and don't harm , I can keep up with that. The laws of the Gay B Cs sold millions of books throughout the school system. My grand kids won't be grooming on them to have their dicks cut off, when 80% where just gay or lesbians in the first place..
@Castlepaloma No.
@Flyingsaucesir of course I’m joking. Bible has despicable stories in it that children shouldn’t read
@abyers1970 It's not that they shouldn't read such stuff; it's that they shouldn't be taught to believe it. Kids should be given the tools for critical thinking, and opportunities to apply them. The Bible should be viewed as fantasy/fiction literature, in the vein as Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings.
Don't want to ban the Bible, it's got the odd nice fairy tales in it, could block the bad bits. If the sex teacher are the parents, when the kids are ready, that's OK. Drag gueen dancers, pedophile and child castration is to stay out of my taxes payer pants and my child pants. .
Now that's what I call hot-button hyperbole!
I'm not a fan of religion, just tolerate them, especially Governments and Statist lately. I do mean literally stay out of my tax paying pocket. No matter straight sex or gender industry for life sex upon our kids. Home schooling is booming and most people in the world would agree with me to keep sex with parents education .Parents will love their children for life , Government and Rockefeller synthetic medicine world doesn't.
Do think the Bible is objectionable material and think the Gay B. Cs book for 4 year olds, is also.
@Castlepaloma When you have people in great numbers, as we do today, you have to have laws, and the means to enforce them. Otherwise you'll have nothing but anarchy, chaos, and rule of the gun (i.e. criminal gangs, war lords, cartels, mafias, etc.). If you want laws that are fair to everyone, then you need a representative body, a legislature, to write them. And then you will need another body, a judiciary,to interpret the laws. And you will need an executive to administer and implement the laws. Before you know it, you have a government. If the people who lead the various governmental branches are chosen by the people at large, there's a chance that the government will be fair and work for everyone's benefit. But the people who elect the government officials must be well-informed, and actively participate in the electoral process. They must be constantly vigilant, lest malign forces (like the afore-mentioned criminal gangs) take over the government and attempt to use it for their own selfish ends. Trump/MAGA is a prime example of such malign force. I find it very satisfactory that the system is holding Trump and his minions accountable. It's very encouraging. We may save this civilization yet. And I don't whine about having to pay taxes to keep the wheels of justice (and other government functions) rolling, because I know that [A] it's a hell of a lot better than the alternative, [B] I don't have a childish expectation that it will be perfect, and [C] I am reasonably confident that it's working, even though there is always room for improvement.
