Curious to me that as soon as Netanyahu got back in power the war stated again. Now they have an excuse to go after more Palestinians and take their land.
The October 7 Hamas attack represents such a huge failure in Israeli intelligence, it invites speculation as to whether that failure was, at least in part, deliberate. Was the massacre the excuse the Israeli government was looking for to turn the screws on Palestinians in Gaza?
@Flyingsaucesir I mean, they've ever needed an excuse.
It seems that Israel is playing a long game. It's been 75 years so far. If it takes them 150 years, they'll take over every square inch of Palestine. The recent thawing of Israeli relations with the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia is an indication that they can get away with it. At least they think so. Money talks. Memories fade. Alliances shift.
Not saying that what Hamas did on 10-7 was justified. Not at all. But it was provoked. Some would call what Israel has done since 1948 "ethnic cleansing."
