I live in the neighborhood where everyone drops their kids and then comes back to pick them up at the end of the night. I have been told that there are between 400-600 trick-or-treaters in our neighborhood each year. For the first couple of years living here I went along with it, passing out tons of junk food to kids. But ever since covid I have pulled down my shades and turned down the lights, taken a couple of gummies and sat it out. I like it. 🙂

I'm setting inside now drinking a beer quietly and there is a trash can blocking my porch walkway. I was going to have a sign that reads "I'm hiding out inside eating all of your candy" but I did not want any trouble.
