The big accomplishment is a semantic one: they (we) moved from "transition away from fossil fuels" to "phase out fossil fuels." Nice, but there is no enforcement mechanism.

It is all just hot air.

I don't mean to be too negative. Getting 190 countries to commit to zero carbon emissions in X years is a heavy lift. The good news is that many states are voluntarily going forward. And more will join them as the climate bites harder. And all the necessary technology exists. We just need to implement it.
