Well, for one thing, Ukraine has some of the most productive farmland on Earth. It's literally the bread basket of the world. Do we want a criminal gang with sovereign borders controlling that?
Isn't it worth 5% of our annual military budget to destroy our most dangerous adversary's army and not have to have any American boots on the ground?
