Yeah, it was the best comic strip of all time, ever!
I have to respect that the creator decided to retire the strip when he was running short on ideas. He wanted to keep it high quality, and so decided he'd just publish the occasional book of new material in order to keep it high quality, rather than put out a lower quality daily strip.
