It's not mainstream media per se, but certain outlets that are deliberately misleading the public: Fox "News," One America "News" Network, and "News"max, to name a few. None if them are actual news outlets. They are merely organs of propaganda.

@Flyingsaucesir Those outlets are at the forefront but look at the Dow, if trump were in the WH that would be the screaming headline even on CNN, NBC, etc.
Yet Biden is the president and it registers barely a blip, of course it's great for all the pension funds but the marjority of Americans do not have one of those. Many Americans are the ignorant poor that trump appeals to and they do not want to hear Biden is doing well and all the networks want is viewers.

The reason why we have bodily autonomy on everything else, is that abortion really only affects women not men, so the theocrats are glad to make and exception and ban abortion, because the real aim of it is to control and oppress women and girls, esp. their sex lives..

Unfortunately, the corporate overlords and the ridiculously wealthy are putting these politicians in the positions they inhabit by choosing their candidate and making the selections we are presented with a win either way it goes for them. Until we can take to task these mega-corporations that make the laws, and choose our politicians, then we cannot expect any real change! When we fight each other, we do nothing for the greatness of human kind. When we come together in unity and brotherhood, this is the kind of humanity that can overcome tyrrany and oppression. Wars, poverty, starvation, and disease would be a thing of the past when we take up these values instead of the valuation of money and material posessions. Pardon my spelling errors, please. I know I am not the best speller, or grammer user.

@Ceaselessmind Also respectfully submitting (that's good). As Pogo once said we have met the enemy and them is us. We and our huge numbers have created this situation in which it takes a lot of many to get even a modicum of information out to the general public. This is information we need to make a critical vote. Our large immigration numbers mean fewer and fewer even understand our language (I worked a posing station for 5 years and often ballots were printed in other languages. I also saw many torn in not know who or what to vote for and doing a coin toss vote simply to make a mark on the ballot. Many do not understand you can leave votes blank). Our numbers, the 'diversity' and the increasing complexity of even once simple items has led us to this point. Also, many do not want to hear of issues or politics and tune out with entertainment of Faux noise. When the Constitution was written it was aimed at mostly white, landowners. Reason being these people are more educated then the general public and to vote wisely required knowledge.

@Ceaselessmind You are making my case, for why we must embrace socialism, and also dump the two major parties, both of which have been totally bought off by the rich and corporations.
