Quite often, we are what we're taught. There was no religion in my upbringing, so I never learned to believe in it. All the praying has not made the world a better place. We have to change it ourselves, cause their gods can't or won't. And spirituality is just a different way of passing the buck without personally changing anything. There are a lot of mysteries in the world... mostly just things science hasn't figured out yet.

Read the room. A group of people who don’t believe in religion aren’t necessarily going to be into spiritual stuff either.
