You are hopelessly entangled in a massive delusion and I have no idea where to begin to help you see through the delusion.

A "sin" was created by religion, correct? You hate religion. A sin literally means to violate a law. Where did laws originate from? Religion, the 10 commandments, etc. Since you hate religion, then surely you must also recognize that sin is not real?

Now, you realize all functions of religion have now been transferred to government.

Instead of getting married at a church, you go to a courthouse.

Instead of paying tithe, you pay tax.

So, in conclusion, the government is now the religion.

So, are you able to use your noggin?

If you look up the actual origin of the word "sin" it was originally a term used by ancient archers, and it meant, simply, that you missed the target you were aiming for. When a person missed the target they were said to have "sinned". The application to religion and religious laws came later.

So, the original definition was not quite so serious, and it was only a minor thing where a person was expected to improve at some point. Not the life and death, black and white, catastrophic meaning it eventually became over time.

Most of the stories in the bible are just recycled myths from earlier religions and cultures, which a few changes ...

This bunny died for you. I knew something was wrong when he stopped showing up. Now cry and pray to him.
