While he was alive, Fred Trump repeatedly bailed his son Donald Trump out from financial ruin. After the old man died, Donald bilked his own family members out of their inheritances. He blew that money too.

Trump Steaks was a brand of meats that was licensed by Donald Trump.The brand was launched in May of 2007 and was exclusively sold through The Sharper Image and QVC. Due to poor sales, The Sharper Image discontinued the Trump Steaks product line just two months after its launch.

Trump Shuttle (a short-hop airline) started in 1988 but was never profitable and went out of business in 1992.

Trump University was never accredited, and ceased operations in 2011 amid multiple lawsuits claiming false advertising and fraud. In 2016, Trump paid $25 million to settle the suits.

Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino had chronic money problems. At one point Fred Trump, in an attempt to throw his son Donald a financial lifeline (and skirt tax laws), used cash to buy $2 million in chips from the casino. Nevertheless, the facilities fell into disrepair and were finally shuttered in 2014.

The Donald J. Trump Foundation was formed in 1988 with the stated purpose of soliciting and distributing funds to charitable causes. In reality Trump used his "charity" as a personal slush fund. It was dissolved by court order in 2018, and Trump was forced to pay $2 million in restitution.

Trump Media & Technology Group, the parent company of the Twitter clone, Truth Social, lost $49 million in 2023. Formed in 2021, Truth Social still only has 5 million users. Compare that to Facebook, which has 5 BILLION users. Long-term investors in the newly-public company are not likely to enjoy any returns on their investments. But hey, if they want to throw away their money, that's their own business.

A jury fined fined Trump nearly $90 million for repeatedly defaming the writer E. Jean Carroll after she publicly disclosed that he had raped her in a Manhattan department store dressing room.

The Trump Organization has been found guilty of fraud in New York State civil court, and faces fines and interest of over $454 million.

Trump is scheduled to go on trial in a Manhattan criminal court in April. Trump is charged with falsifying business records in furtherance of a scheme to keep voters in the 2016 presidential election from finding out about a sexual encounter he had with a porn actress while his wife was home with their newborn son.

After witnessing 4 years of chaotic and incompetent job performance, America FIRED Trump from the office of the presidency in 2020. Sore loser that he is, Trump then brought over 60 frivolous lawsuits alleging electoral fraud. He lost them all. He then attempted to carry out a self-coup, and failed at that too.

Trump has been federally indicted in Florida for mishandling classified documents and obstruction of justice. Some of Trump's own staff are set to testify against him. The judge in this case is a Trump appointee and is pulling out all the stops to delay the trial and derail the prosecution. She has already been rebuked by the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals and had two of her decisions reversed. With any luck, the 11th will recuse her from the case.

Trump has also been indicated for his attempted coup by the state of Georgia and by the Department of Justice. True to form, Trump seeks to delay and/or derail the trials rather than simply clear his name in open court. It seems he has enough self awareness to know that he is unlikely to prevail, that he is indeed the biggest loser...
