Wow! I never understood dependency, be it on a person, a drug, a cult or a god. The only addiction I ever had was smoking, and I broke that! To be able to shut down your brain to the point where you can only believe one thing is the basis of religion of course. You can only believe in an invisible being by ignoring any facts that don’t fit into that narrative. But I understand it is a human condition. It allows people to go to war against other people for reasons they don’t understand, but refuse to question. To believe their leader, be it a king, a president or a preacher has been chosen by their god to tell them what they need to do, regardless of how strange it may seem. I have no tribe, this website is probably as close as I come . But that doesn’t mean I blindly would follow any of you down a rabbit hole without a whole lot of due process!

Hm-mm, America’s founders defeated a monarchy and gave us an oligarchy, which many talking heads now call “Our Democracy.” Those talking heads lie.

If Donald Jesus Christ Trump and their GOP win this year and replace our oligarchy with fascism, our offspring in a century or two wiill rebel and make a better democracy than we have.

Think. Fewer than twenty of our fifty states have direct democracy — the direct initiative, referendum and recall. Most of these states are in America’s West; they became states later than our Civil War.
