Besides, the church cultivates fear of hell and hatred of "sinners" to keep their congregations coming back, and donating money, of course. Trump is just using the advice of Machiavelli's "The Prince" to gain power- accusing a common "enemy," (the liberals, blacks, Muslims, the LGBTQ community, etc.) and frightening people to keep them in line, exactly as the church does.

Since they’ve never become accustomed to seeing reality in their mirror ..I’ll guess they just squint a little harder ..cuz it kinda closes your ears at the same time.
