Guilty. I've spent years looking at my messy bookcase and vowing to clean and organize it. I finally did it last week. Looks great and it only took me a couple of hours, but my brain has spent years making me feel bad for it being in such disarray. Ditto for other things around my apartment. The stress of knowing I'm procrastinating is likely stealing energy from me.

I'm having new windows and doors installed next month and the contractor will need to move some of my shelves to make space in my living room to put the windows/doors together. I need this deadline of necessity to clear away some of the stuff I've accumulated over the past 17 years. Feels good to see the progress, but I still have a lot of work to do.

I hated throwing away some of my books, but the salt air is not kind to the binding, so some were falling apart.

Nope, I Love crossing Anything off my To Do list...however, some things get pushed to the bottom now and then, like cleaning the car interior in hot weather.
