I had a woman ask me what I thought about banned books. I told her that I purposely read banned books. She turned red and was taken aback and said, "really, why would you do that?" I told her that I wasn't a child that needed self-righteous, hateful, fearful, bigoted people telling me what I can and cannot read.
Evidently, she was, ...both.
