Everyday, more than one.

yes everyday. We would all live a lot longer if we all got a daily hug.

I am not a hugger and once made my late partner cry when I told her a story. I was 35 and living in Germany. I was home on vacation and went to the airport to return to Europe. My mom hugged me and said "I love you". I wondered what was going on as this had never happened before. I came from a family of 7 kids and we were a freerange family. We showed affection by calling each other names and hitting on the arm. I do like to hug some I am close to but even friends and especially strangers I find it uncomfortable to hug.

I don't really like touching. How about a really affectionate hand squeeze?

Definitely

Yes or a couple of dogs who give their love every time they see you.;

Oh yes, I would say every day

YES! I'm a very touch-feely person and was also brought up in a huggy family. I think I have both nature and nurture going for me in this regard. I definitely miss tactile stimulation. My kids are 17 and 19 so they obviously don't love on me anymore. I could just kick myself for every time I thought "I just want 5 minutes where no one is touching me" when they were little.

Thankfully I have a very snuggly pup.

We need 6 a day to keep us stable. Thank Darwin for the dog.

My vote would be for every day - whether it be from family, friend, human, pet or ourselves!
