Sooo, I've got 3,944 more point to reap in to achieve L8 and my (hidden). Ok..do I do a mass posting or just offer...Sex or great conversation? Just asking..

You could start an argument by posting something controversial. For instance why Level 8 has any significance and whether getting there through in-depth conversation or simply posting to game the system diminishes the "achievement".

I'm not really accusing you as that would imply that you've done something wrong. I don't think you're breaking any rules but I do think you're "gaming the system" by posting comments for the sole purpose of gaining points as opposed to generating topical debate or discussion.

Anything coveted will be sought after for pride as well as the actual reason the thing exists. I don't think "Level 8" is a worthwhile goal, but to be honest the very reason it was created was to generate posts when some individuals would not without the recognition. So I guess in the end everyone gets what they want, yet in this case nothing of value has been created.

When I hit L8, I didn't even notice for a couple of days. Actually, I think it was getting a message from Admin, asking what size t-shirt I wanted, that made me realize it had happened.
