Ultrasonic Waves Are Everywhere. Can You Hear Them?
[livescience.com]
No.... but I know some people that have a problem with EMF and WIFI. That's a real problem without hearing sound.
I have never been able to detect these high pitched sounds I have known people who could. I worked with as an HVAC mechanic and had a helper that I had to find another job because he could not be around the roof top HVAC without getting headaches and feeling ill, too bad he was a hard worker.
I may have been able to when I was younger, but after prolonged exposure to loud noises, I no longer hear high pitched sounds.
I can't but I had a friend who lost an ear in a farming accident and had a dog's ear implanted as a replacement. Not surprisingly, his hearing greatly improved. The down-side was he began yelling whenever I blew a dog whistle. So annoying. It destroyed our friendship.
Hope he did not start barking too ? Lol
Aren't they outside of the range of human hearing? Hence the term'ultra..' But, no my hearing has been damaged through exposure to loud working environments in my youth. Our wonderful NHS provides me with hearing aids that i dontcwear often enough but even those don't help me with ultra sonics
