After never being right about any prediction on when this supposed rapture is due to arrive one would think, hmm maybe faith isn't a good means to knowledge?

Matthew 24:36
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

So, anyone making the prediction is going against their own faith anyway.

Yeah I was going to say this..... Even when I was at the height of my faith... We thought anyone who figured out the date of the rapture was crazy.

Is king jesus a music group?

Faith exists in the absence of knowledge. One cannot have faith in something if one knows it. One can only have faith in what cannot be known. It's one of the central logic loops I've heard used by faithful (especially Christians) as a justification for the 'unknowable' nature of the Divine. As 'invisible dragon in my garage' arguments go, it has a lovely ring to it, but I recoil in horror at any form of social control which rewards actively choosing ignorance and blind obedience over critical thinking and asking questions.

This is absolutely correct! It is faith as there is not 1 iota of proof but they continue to brainwash little children to believe in some mystic being! Are they so unhappy with their lives that they have to dream of some utopia for after they die?

Only idoits have faith, the others have brains and use them ?

Aron Ra and Matt Dillahunty each have so many great discussions on this subject.

To me faith is probably the most dangerous mental condition a person could ever be stricken with.

Ever think that maybe the rapture did happen, but everybody was left behind?

NASA !!! GOVERNMENT!!! I tells ya !!!

The idiot who occupies the White House is trying to bring on the rapture by getting us into a nuclear war.

The Man in the Clouds works in mysterious ways.

I always picture them at the end of the big day that never was like, "Okay gang, sorry I was wrong again. Same time next... checks the celestial calendar he made out of tin foil and popsicle sticks ... next Thursday? Yeah, that seems right. Okay, see you then! Oh! And don't forget your rain gear! Next week is the plague of frogs, and those little green bastards get everywhere if you're not properly prepared! You know what I'm talking about, right Mary?! And Phil, next time, wear pants, okay? Thanks buddy. Now everybody drive safe. See you next Thursday. Drive safe now. Buh-bye."

If he does come back..well it's going to be a little awkward...cringe moment.

But seriously I love love love these Rapture fruitcakes..it is pure unadulterated entertainment.
I would miss them if they were gone. ???

Ha ha! The insanity of religion proudly on display on T shirts

1

Don't really need unfulfilled prophesy to see that faith isn't a path to truth.

Gotta wonder if she's still wearing that shirt. I bet she is. LOL

It's laughable. ESPECIALLY funny is that the Bible actually WARMS these numb shills to not even try predicting the end. According to the Bible, it will come "as a thief in the night."

Who's ever predicted a burglary before it happens? Maybe Nastradamus or the sleeping prophet...

Christian are often like desperate gamblers. Instead of thinking the next bet will win, they instead think the next prayer will be answered, despite all the prayers that weren't. At leat a gambler has a chance of winning a bet now and then...

The whole thing about religion is spinning reality into fairy tales. They already jumped.

Ahhhh still waiting on the Rupture!...lol

Predictably irrational.

Almost as if some are conceited enough to think it must happen in their lifetime-as ridiculous of a legend as it is

Yeah... My grandma, born in 1910 said that they believed he'd come back then too. He's the end of a rainbow.
