Looking from outside the USA, you certainly seem to have hit a new low with the current despicable President and his policies and attitudes, on top of your previous problems. Maybe that means that post-Trump, the only way is up? You seem to be concerned particularly about environmental issues. Some American states are going against the Government's attitude and doing their bit for the environment independently, so if your state is one of them, maybe you should get more involved.

Believe me, the President we had before Trump was far worse, it's just that he was better able to conceal his true self from the public than Trump is.
