People want to believe in fairy tales. You too can meet and marry a prince.

Considering how hard early Americans (not Native Americans......not THAT early!) fought against the monarchy, it makes me wonder too. Oy vey.

I can't comprehend it.

Wanna bees? Distraction?

I think it is genetics, combined with indoctrination. Just like religion. The need for a "father" and the possibility of recognition.
Giving gifts to the king. Pretty stupid.
The michigan legislature gave Bezos/amazon $5 million for building in the state.
The assholes took my money to give to one of the richest on the planet. Mental illness.

You will obey and worship the lizard overlords !!!

Many people seem to "worship" wealth, notoriety, elitism, power, celebrity, sensationalism. It is totally foreign to my thought process.

Not I. Must be the exeption.

I don't get it. I never have.

Nobody does pomp and circumstance better than the Brits. But these really quite ordinary people being born into a role that requires them to be viewed as extraordinary lends a certain fascination. And in light of recent events, I'm beginning to think our decision to rebel and separate ourselves from the Commonwealth may have possibly been a mistake. 😉

I'm thinking it might be that they still use Prince and Princess in their titles the way that fairytales do.
