It's easy to feel isolated when you are an Atheist, we don't seem to have a presence although we make up a larger part of society than ever before. The best way I know to meet other Atheists is to let others know who I am, they can't relate to me as an Atheist if I keep that part of me in the closet.

I've never been a believer, yet I've never felt isolated because of it.
Lived north, south, west, east....I'm generally comfortable wherever I am.

I feel much less isolated in my atheism since I joined this site.
Makes living in the bible-thumping South a helluva lot easier.
