If you could marry any fictional character, who would it be and why ?
Maybe marrying a fictional character is already too many people's problem..
Is just for fun. ??
@Wildgreens there is no fun in marriage.
Sigourney weaver.... from Alien. Pretty... smart... a survivor... in charge.... tough.
I like how you think. ?
I love alien.
@Wildgreens. Well thank you..?
Dexter. The blood spatter guy by day, murderer/avenger by night... not the cartoon. Is that bad? Lol!
It's just for fun, so if that's what you think that works. ??
Wolverine! We could make wonderful salads together!
I know right. ?
lol
Trillian from the Hitchiker's Guide To The Galaxy. It may have something to do with Zooey Deschanel playing her in the movie version.
Selene from Underworld
Or
Raven from Teen Titans
....I have a fictional type. Lol
If I was a man, I would marry Selene! Love Kate!
@Freespirit64 the character in general is amazing but Kate did play the part very well
Isis. I think she's the only one patient enough to put up with me.
@Donotbelieve Absolutely. A perpetual safety net. Wonder how long she would tolerate this obviously one sided relationship.
Dracula, Lestat of the Vampire Chronicles, Henry Sturges of Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. Because I like dark mysterious men with a touch of evil.
Hmmm... fictional... I would liked to meet Rhett Butler, but maybe not marriage,... Mr. Samwise Gamgee would make a fine husband I think.
Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman....should go without saying why.
(corrected since I made a boo-boo)...not sure who I was thinking of when I used the name "Elizabeth"...maybe Fred Sanfords wife in heaven...
Yeap ??.
Jessica Rabbit. I can't explain it. I'm just drawn to her.
Must be the red hair and the curves.
@BearMcClure Yes. If I find the human equivalent all other human males will become invisible to me.
@BearMcClure Oh believe me I know LOL Haku is asking for the sun,, moon & stars.
I do however have the canine incarnation....if only he could morph into a human man. I could die happy.
Reflex response Atticus Finch.
That type of resolve to justice in the face of what could have been career suicide.
With thought? Someone like Jon Stewart or Steven Colbert.
I do need a sense of humor in a mate
I would marry Hawkeye, as played by Daniel Day Lewis in the Last of the Mohichans. I loved his strength, bravery, honor, integrity, and how straight forward and romantic he was when he took Cora to the fort and saved her from the Indian attack, I felt like he was a man I could respect. If I don't respect a man, it doesn't matter if I am in love with him. I had that experience, and I found it empty and impossible to maintain.
@Taladad I did see it, and I loved it. I think I would have married Maximus too.
Jeannie, and I would not act like that mope Major Nelson. She can use her powers to the fullest with me!
I hear ya Mike. I always thought Larry Hagman was the dumbest actor on tv, if Barbara Eden came out of a bottle, called me master and offered me wishes there wasn't a 13 year old boy on earth that didn't know what to request.
@clarkatticus Well said!
He did a wonderful version of the Doctor. He is great in just about anything he does. I really liked the miniseries "The Escape Artist". Many many other great roles....
David Tennant is Dr Who.
Frannie from The Hotel New Hampshire. She's a survivor and I love her sense of humor.
I don't think there's anyone, fictional or not, who could convince me that marrying again is a good idea...
I would love to but I realize that I won't change your mind set if you don't want to.... And I mean it, not trying the slightest to troll or anything. You asked, that's my answer.
@IamNobody The only advantage I am aware of is economic, and considering that my ex-husband was unemployed... I see no benefit. You are welcome to try to enlighten me.
@Nottheonlyone ok that's encouraging and I appreciate that. The reality is that anything I say here is only words. Here I am Nobody because want to be Nobody. In the real world I still have a lot left to offer but then again it's only words. All of a sudden it dawned on me that I am doing the same thing all over again (the apple don't fall away from the tree), I have always found you interesting since I jouned this site but its also a reality that I have based a lot on the visual perception from your pictures. I find you attractive and I am a hard working person that has always been very serious about providing. My marriage failed for other reasons, not because of financial stuff. I am at the edge of getting on the last time of my life and I cannot afford to fail again. I will enphasize that I like your looks but I cannot change your mind set and the only hope would be coffe and then time but that opportunity got wasted when I said something about a comment on this country. Its a paper that once it gets wrapped then it can never become the same again. I will always follow your comments with lively interest trying not to bother. I have done enough already.
@IamNobody You're not bothering me. And the patriotism comment was probably just a misunderstanding. Finances weren't the only reason my marriage failed. Feel free to message me if you'd like to continue the conversation.
