New species of tardigrade discovered in a Japanese parking lot
Oo, oo, oo!, I just thought!
You've heard of flea circuses!?!
Let's figure their natural abilities, and create a WATERBEAR CIRCUS !!!!
REALLY low overhead, mainly all you need is a microscope and camera, and tripod!
lol!
they are very common and easy to find. Find some moss wet it down, take a sample and look under the microscope.
how strong a microscope
@squiggy_70 here's a method
[microscopy-uk.org.uk]
you only need 15 to 30X. They are quite big relatively speaking.
@Lukian really? hmm do they die on our faces? they never die they must die some time. if not we should study them for the secret of longevity
@squiggy_70 Like I pointed out, the micro organisms on out face are not Tardigrades. As to how they die or not, I dunno.
these creatures can survive in space. there is a species living on our faces with no anus. it dies by rupturing on your face.
Now I certainly didn't need to know THAT!!!!
@njoy_life_2 oops lol
not sure those micro animals on our face are tardigrades
@LeighShelton and @Lukian see:
@EllenDale very similar
Bears yesterday,waterbears today. I sense a theme @Jnei
I <3 Tardigrades!!!!
ha nice avatar name!
