I've been drastically curtailing my FB usage but today saw an ad for this site and decided to check it out.

Welcome. This is a much wider circle than most people have in their Facebook friends, so you will probably find some people you can get on with here. Check out lots of different groups and conversations and give yourself time to find new friends.
