Where's the casino?
Albuquerque
@btroje That's probably a long walk.
If I move there can I move into your place?
you would be scared
doesn't even come close to the las vegas,nv i visited in 1981. these days i'd clearly prefer this one.
I broke down there one summer as part of a Christian camp team. We stayed the night at the thunderbird motel. The alternator went out in our car and we found someone on Sunday who replaced the alternator. However they put the wrong make and model alternator on so a month later we broke down in Las Vegas, NV. So we broke down in both Las Vegases (Las Vegasi?)
you can rest assured the THunderbird Motel is still here. SOrry about the gear head mixup
Looks peaceful
looks can be deceiving. I keep to myself a lot
@btroje
K then
OH! NOT Nevada. Looks quiet.
Las Vegas no way in hell Nevada, New Mexico
@btroje I figured that out. Never been to either one.
@silverotter11 this one is better
Nice little cafe?
good calabacita and chicharon burritos
So busy and crowded! How do you cope??
ITs rough. Having to drive under 35 mph most places is terrifying. And if there are more than 10 people at the hot springs I have to leave
it is a character building experience
@btroje I’m going 35 out my driveway, lol. I recently got a speeding ticket near Richmond for 85 in a 70mph...leadfoot, me.
Hot springs? Cool! Though 10 people IS a lot. Leadfoot introvert, also me.
@CarolinaGirl60 there are about 10 separate hot springs
@btroje That’s so cool...all are accessible to soak in? I’ve never seen a hot spring, though there are a very few in the NC mountains.
@CarolinaGirl60 yes. they are free and about 30 feet from the road. dispersed along about a quarter mile strip
