2 days ago we had an amazing thunderstorm here in the UK. We usually get 10/20 strikes but the news is reporting 100,000. I've never seen anything like it. It was a strike every few seconds for a couple of hours with just constant thunder.

Yes...I'm sure Alberto hammered you. The flooding and storm surge must have caused a lot of problems. I live in Ponte Vedra, just south of Jacksonville so I can sympathize. We got a lot of rain also but no real wind. We had Irma and Matthew last year.
